Little free libraries were created to encourage sharing of both physical goods as well as knowledge! They contain books of all types, from the most complex to those more elementary.
This library is an ode to the Foshay Tower. The Foshay Tower is a 32 story building in downtown Minneapolis that was a marvel of its time (being erected in 1929). At 607 feet tall it was the tallest building in the entire Midwest for 48 years! Not only that, it was the tallest building in Minneapolis until the IDS Center was built. The building currently hosts a hotel with 230 rooms and an observation deck along with a prohibition themed bar.
