Lesnes Abbey is a unique green oasis, 10 minutes’ walk from Abbey Wood Train Station. At 88 hectares, this large site has lots of things to do and explore including woodland, heath, meadow and ponds, alongside formal parkland and gardens with views across the London skyline.
Visit the ruins of a 12th Century Abbey, dig in a prehistoric fossil pit or keep fit in the recreation and play areas.
This is a 28 cache walk around Lesnes Abbey Woods. It includes a bonus, GCAPZGN, so watch out for the numbers for that in the other caches. It has traditional, multi, mystery, letterbox, wherigo and all the caches sizes so hopefully there's something for everyone. Make sure that you solve the puzzles in advance and pick up all the information required at the ruins before heading off into the woods.
Permission has been granted to place these caches by Ian Holt, the Lesnes Abbey Manager. Please don't abuse his goodwill, stick to footpaths and don't cross any fences.
