My friend Brian won a Magellan Platinum GPS receiver at a sales convention and didn’t know what to do with it. He offered it to me. I had heard of geocaching and decided to give it a try. I grabbed my two youngest girls and headed off to our first cache. We found it after a short search and have never looked back! Here are a few of our most memorable caches:

- Claustrophobia – Wow. Amazing, gutsy adventure – Found on October 2, 2010 – Archived but replace by GC9JDBD
- Look Low (must like spiders) – Nine Part Multi! Amazing adventure. AFAIK our party is the only party to have legitimately found all nine stages. - Found December 14, 2012
- Chuckwalla's Mexican Hideaway – Great Mexican adventure with my daughter – Found January 3, 2013

And that is just a sampling! Geocaching has given us (Randallh and RaftingMama) a great opportunity to explore. The adventures have been priceless. We use the tagline, “It’s the Journey!”
