This cache is a field puzzle. As the attributes suggest you will need special tools to log this one; specifically a pair of no. 11 knitting needles.
The cache is near the entrance to the Burt Township School Forest. This 1,300 acre forest is home to many trails for hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and biking. The North Country Trail passes through, and the Superior Pines Disc Golf Course lies within. The forest is used for educational and recreational purposes, as well as occasional timber sales. The Lake Superior State Forest is adjacent. If you're here in August the hundreds of acres of wild blueberries are a bonus. Cache placed with permission of the Burt Township School.
