We played the animal game almost every day when the kids were growing up. As we passed by this area, we would guess how many wild animals we would see, the winner would be whoever was closest to the actual number that we observed. The numbers could range from zero to over twenty on a good day and we have seen: rattlesnakes, coyotes, rabbits, quail, roadrunners, gopher snakes, and all kinds of birds. It was always an exciting game to look forward to especially in the spring when all the animals were out.
As you search for this cache, you want to make sure you look where you step, just in case there are snakes around. You also don't want to hit this cache on a rainy day or after heavy rains as it floods often. If the area is flooded, pass it up and wait for another drier day, you can probably hit some of the other caches we hid that are within a mile of this one.
