Geocache Description:

This cache is located in State Game Lands 39 which borders Clear Creek State Forest to the west. This area is very popular for hiking and even tent camping. Beware of muggles when caching especially with this one being so close to the parking area.

I have hiked here many times and find the area to be very beautiful. You can make your hike very easy by staying on top or challenging by hiking down to the river. There is an overlook and if your observant you'll see remnants from days gone by from the oil and gas industry.

One of PA's oldest geocaches can be found here, Bullion Run Iron Furnace Cache: GC83D0. If you have not found this be sure to go get it.

With all of my hides there is no reason to tear anything up while looking for it. No need to tear apart old logs or stumps. My intentions are for everybody to find these caches. You will find the hint to be very specific in locating the cache, even to the point where beginners should come away with a smiley. Please do not re-hide cache harder then intended. I use a Garmin handheld GPS, but even then the coords can be jumpy. Once at GZ follow the hint, and make life easy for yourself.

***Since this is Pennsylvania State Game Lands, encountering hunters is likely. Flourescent Orange is recommended at all times, but is required during May, October, November, December and January.***
