Il parco pubblico della Rimembranza o più comunemente conosciuto con il nome Monte di Pasta è un'altura collinare che sorge nel centro cittadino della Città di Massa ed ha un altitudine di 101 m slm.
Questo parco è un'oasi verde di carattere boschivo nella quale è possibile eseguire camminate e trekking urbano. Per arrivare alla sua sommità è possibile percorrere dei sentierini selciati che inerpicandosi con una pendenza maggiore rispetto alla strada di servizio portano alla cima con la senzazione di aver percorso veramente un tratto montano seppur non lunghissimo.
Possibile anche l'uso della strada ovviamente un po' più lunga ma più amena.
Durante la salita è già possibile godere di alcuni bellissimi scorci sul Castello Malaspina, fortificazione mediavale e dimora dei della Casata dei Cybo-Malaspina, casata principesca italiana che ha regnato nel Ducato di Massa e Carrara dal 1553 al 1790.
Oltre ad essere un polmone verde in città il Monte di Pasta accoglieva al suo interno una fabbricato dell'ex acquedotto con pozzi per il prelievo dell'acqua. Ad oggi questa struttura è diventato un rudere con i pozzi ormai chiusi e non accessibili; ma comunque questo luogo è ancora utilizzato per i servizi idrici in quanto il Monte di Pasta sotto di se funge da cisterna di raccolta e stoccaggio dell'acqua.
Arrivati in cima al Monte di Pasta si può giodere di uno splendido punto panoramico che offre la possibilità di ammirare tutta la piana sottostante della Città di Massa fino al suo litorale. Nelle giornate terse è possibile vedere anche varie isole vicine. Voltandosi sul lato opposto, possiamo ammirare nuovamernte il Castello Malaspina in tutta la sua maestosità e interezza.
All'interno di questo parco anche alcune sculture, in particolare in cima è collocata una Madonna con Bambino alla quale spunta da dietro le sue spalle un'elica, protettrice degli aviatori.

The public park of Remembrance or more commonly known by the name Monte di Pasta is a hilly area that rises in the city center of the city of Massa and has an altitude of 101 m above sea level.
This park is a green oasis of woodland nature in which it is possible to take walks and urban trekking. To get to its top it is possible to follow small paved paths which, climbing at a steeper slope than the service road, lead to the top with the feeling of having truly traveled a mountain stretch, albeit not a very long one.
It is also possible to use the road which is obviously a little longer but more pleasant.
During the climb it is already possible to enjoy some beautiful views of the Malaspina Castle, a mediaeval fortification and home of the House of Cybo-Malaspina, an Italian princely house that reigned in the Duchy of Massa and Carrara from 1553 to 1790.
In addition to being a green lung in the city, Monte di Pasta housed within it a building of the former aqueduct with wells for drawing water. To date this structure has become a ruin with the wells now closed and not accessible; but in any case this place is still used for water services as the Monte di Pasta below acts as a water collection and storage tank.
Once you reach the top of Monte di Pasta you can enjoy a splendid panoramic point which offers the possibility of admiring the entire plain below of the City of Massa up to its coastline. On clear days it is also possible to see various nearby islands. Turning to the opposite side, we can admire the Malaspina Castle again in all its majesty and entirety.
Inside this park there are also some sculptures, in particular at the top there is a Madonna with Child with a propeller, protector of aviators, emerging from behind her.
