Over the years, Mr. Lacknothing has constructed many boxes used for geocache hides. Give the man a hammer, some wood and nails, and he is as happy as a clam. Imagine his surprise when he recently learned that he didn't always need to use nails. Back in the day, before nails came into being, people used dowels that served the same purpose. They pass through the joints in boards, providing a “bridge” of strength between the two pieces while helping to hold them together.
It is now a whole new world as he has options when putting together those nice wooden boxes that will become geocaches at an event near you!
This cache will be easy to locate. However, figuring out how to access the logbook may prove to be challenging - especially if you have never worked with dowels!
