This afternoon two muggle friends and I took a Tubbs Hill hike. We parked at the Fire Trail Trailhead, where there is no fee. There are other parking options - some free and one with a fee.
We hiked the Main Trail Loop. I had a container in my pack, and my friends were willing to wait while I scouted a location and placed a cache. (They didn't have a lot of choice; I was the driver!)
I showed them the map, with the circles. They got kind of "into it." I explained the "stealth issue." I spied a likely spot. I headed up and found a place that I think should work. Dropped the cache and protected it with some natural camo.
The cache is a smallish screw-top jar. Peanut butter? Contains log, pencil, and a trade item. It is uphill from the Main Trail. There is an animal trail that heads toward the hiding place, which is just under a rock cave. Cache is hidden behind a couple of rocks. Please replace so it's not visible. Stealth may be needed.
Congratulations to Martin 5 on the First to Find!
