A chaise is a term originating in the 17th century for a light, two wheeled carriage with a folding hood top. Used for travelling or pleasure and drawn by one horse, later the term became used for four-wheeled versions called post chaise, which were instrumental to the development of the fledgling postal network in England.
This is the fifth in a small series of caches placed for the 139th KT caching event. Walking the whole circuit can be done in either direction. Over half of the distance is along quiet roads with the remainder through a park on fairly good paths next to the River Bollin. Please take care with children and animals at all times whether on roads or near water.
Roadside parking can be found in a few places around Wilmslow and we have listed a couple of suitable waypoints. You will need a pen or pencil to sign the log of this cache. We welcome logs highlighting any issues or any suggestions you have to improve the cache or the series. Good luck everyone!
