We all have those caches where we search and search only to kick ourselves later because we looked right past it! It's so hard to know what's important sometimes...
Anyway, here's a short story:
Aren was an avid geocacher who loved t0 travel. He began his adventures right here in Chicago. He was grabbing s0me of the virtuals around Millenium Park when a t0urist stopped him to ask how to get to the lake. "Aren, how?" They asked. Aren p0inted them in the right direction before carrying 0n his way. He had a flight to catch!
Next, Aren went to Munich. He visited many museums, tried their fam0us beer, and walked all around the city. He was l0oking slightly suspcious as he was searching for a particularly hard geocache in the Schwabing neighborh00d. A curi0us muggle came up and asked why he was doing what he was d0ing. "Aren, warum?" Aren explained ge0caching to the muggle, who asked l0ts of f0ll0w-ups. Aren told him all about it, and the man even downloaded the ge0caching app, excited to participate!
Aren then traveled to France, where he decided to hike ar0und the Pyrenees. There, he ran int0 another geocacher headed the same direction. They walked t0gether for a bit, finding cache after cache. Finally, they arrived at the train stati0n. They had time for one more cache together, but it was one Aren had already f0und. The geocacher asked him where to look, "Aren, où?" Aren gave him a hint, which allowed for a quick find. Then Aren h0pped 0n his train t0 head towards his next destinati0n: Portugal.
In Lisbon, Aren spent the day geocaching all ar0und the city. By the time he arrived at his h0tel, he was exhausted. When he tried to check in, the fr0nt desk clerk had trouble hearing Aren's unusual last name. She asked what he had said, and he t0ld her. "Aren, que?" "Vermelho."
