This geocache is placed in conjunction with the 2024 Allegany State Park Geobash. This is a letterbox and contains a stamp and ink pad. Feel free to use it, but please return it to the cache before you close it up.
To start your adventure: Head to the paved trail that runs along the tennis courts. Take this trail about .17 miles, past the bridge and to where the trail starts to bend. Stop here and look for a covered man-hole a few feet off the trail. Head directly into the wooded area past this. You will travel about 40 ft. to a small spikey tree. Just past this tree is a smaller tree surrounded by mossy rocks. Start searching for the container here.
Please note: The Park charges a Vehicle Use Fee ($7 for cars in 2024), Daily from the 4th week of June to Labor day and on weekends and holidays from Memorial Day to Mid-October.
