Se passares algum tempo a praticar geocaching, é possível que avistes um sapo com uma antena na cabeça. Este é o Signal the Frog, a mascote oficial do Geocaching.
História
O Signal foi criado nos primórdios do Geocaching.com para representar a combinação entre a tecnologia e a natureza. Desde então o Signal foi acarinhado pela comunidade de Geocaching e aparece em equipamento relacionado com o geocaching, trackables, e até ao vivo em alguns Mega Eventos. Se o vires, cumprimenta-o e descubre o seu código de rastreio.
Mas Porquê um Sapo?
Se reparar, o Signal não é apenas um sapo. É um sapo com uma antena embutida na cabeça. Procurámos por todo o reino animal e não conseguimos encontrar outro animal com uma antena do género, por isso a escolha foi fácil.

Signal The Frog
If you spend some time geocaching, you might see a frog with an antenna on its head. This is Signal the Frog, the official mascot of Geocaching.
History
Signal was created in the early days of Geocaching.com to represent the combination of technology and nature. Since then, Signal has been embraced by the Geocaching community and appears on geocaching-related equipment, trackables, and even live at some Mega Events. If you see him, say hello and find out his tracking code.
But Why a Frog?
If you notice, Signal is not just a frog. It's a frog with an antenna built into its head. We searched the entire animal kingdom and couldn't find another animal with such an antenna, so the choice was easy.
