Sgt. Binyamin Meir Airley, 21, of the Paratroopers Brigade’s 101st Battalion, was killed fighting Hamas terrorists in the northern Gaza Strip on November 18, 2023.
Binyamin was a friend of - and loved by - our entire family. Even after 6 months it still doesn't seem real that he's gone. The Times of Israel ran a nice story:

As Jen Airley wrote in the article: "He had a deep love affair with Israel’s natural beauty, especially the natural springs. His life mission was to protect the Land [of Israel] and keep it safe and thriving so all Jews could live anywhere in Israel peacefully. Binyamin lived and died with that mission.”
This year we decided to take a short trip to the ruins of the ancient city of Yarmut and place a cache in his honor.
May all who find it take a moment to reflect on our beautiful country and those who fight - and somtimes Gd-forbid give their lives - to protect it.
