Breny est une commune du département de l'Aisne, en région Hauts-de-France. Elle se rattache à l'arrondissement de Soissons et au canton de Villers-Cotterêts. Depuis 1994, elle constitue avec les vingt-cinq autres communes de ce dernier la communauté de communes du canton d'Oulchy-le-Château. Ses habitants s'appellent les Bernois et les Bernoises.
Placée au centre ouest du plateau du Tardenois et arrosée par la rivière Ourcq, la commune de Breny est tournée vers l'agriculture. C'est ce qui modèle son paysage : les grandes étendues cultivées sur les hauteurs alternent avec les bosquets et le corridor forestier de la rivière. La région abonde en sources et en rus.
Le site de Breny est occupé depuis le Néolithique. Riche d'histoire antique et médiévale, ce village vieux de deux mille ans abrite plusieurs monuments et objets d'intérêt, classés ou inscrits, ainsi qu'une imposante nécropole gallo-romaine et mérovingienne de 2 200 tombes.
Plusieurs éléments concordants semblent indiquer que le centre de la localité occuperait l'emplacement du palais disparu de Brennacum cité par Grégoire de Tours, villa de plaisance édifiée par le roi Clotaire Ier, fils de Clovis. (wikipedia)

In the composition of Coare, Ondro91 and Richterovci from Slovakia, we went on an 11-day geotrip to the "Channel Islands" or, if you prefer, the Channel Islands, and this cache was created (also) from this occasion. I mean, I wanted to see what they named it after me :D and that's how Breny fell into our path.
Breny is a commune in the Aisne department, in the Hauts-de-France region. It is attached to the district of Soissons and the canton of Villers-Cotterêts. Since 1994, it has constituted with the twenty-five other municipalities of the latter the community of municipalities of the canton of Oulchy-le-Château. Its inhabitants are called Bernois and Bernoises.
Located in the west center of the Tardenois plateau and watered by the Ourcq river, the town of Breny is focused on agriculture. This is what shapes its landscape: large cultivated areas on the heights alternate with groves and the forest corridor of the river. The region abounds in sources and rus.
The Breny site has been occupied since the Neolithic. Rich in ancient and medieval history, this two thousand year old village is home to several monuments and objects of interest, classified or inscribed, as well as an imposing Gallo-Roman and Merovingian necropolis with 2,200 tombs. Several concordant elements seem to indicate that the center of the locality would occupy the site of the disappeared palace of Brennacum cited by Gregory of Tours, a pleasure villa built by King Clotaire I, son of Clovis.

A teraz to hlavné, čo každého zaujíma.
V zložení Coare, Ondro91 a Richterovci sme sa vybrali na 11 dňový geovýlet na "Channel Islands" alebo ak chcete na Normanské ostrovy a táto keška vznikla (aj) z tetjo príležitosti. Teda ja som si chcel pozrieť čo to po mne pomenovali a tak nám Breny padli do cesty. Z čoho je teda môj nick, túto otázku som už dostal milión krát alebo menej. Časť al.fajed je z Dodi al Fayed, pretože Dodi je jedna z prezývok môjho krstného mena. Na prvú časť existujú dve teórie, z ktorých zataiľ ani jednu nevyvrátili odborníci. Prvou je, že je to odvedená z ang. brainy (teda rozumný/chytrý/inteligentný) ale pri prezentácií tejto verzii sa vždy dočkám smiechu. Druhou je, že je to skomolenina Barney-ho z Flinstonovcov lebo som raz mal deku podobnej farby ako jeho oblečenie.
Tak teda, menšia zachádzka pred Parížom a založenie kešky lebo geoparťáci na tom trvali (alebo som ich donútil), pozreli sme pár miest a našli jedno vhodné pre petku. Podľa neoverených informácií sa tu schádzajú rokovať významní predstavitelia štátov na úrovni prezidentov a legenda tiež vraví, že tu aj pápeža volia ale domáci o tom veľmi nechcú hovoriť a argumentujú, že aj oni majú svoje rodiny.
Ešte predtým ako sa rozbehnete po kešku tak vás dôrazne vás žiadam, že v prípade väčšej skupiny nechodili naraz. Miestni obyvatelia nie sú zvyknutí na kilometrové kolóny a ešte nemusia byť pripravení na vznik takéhoto pútnického miesta. Ďakujem.
