I gave this one and a couple others up here along with Bonus F a higher difficulty rating plus a couple different attributes for the mere reason if you decide to go straight down over or climb up from the Bonus F cache. This trail is doable and this is how Tonnek and I traveled, but be aware the footing can be unstable. You could slip and fall in this area.
MT Bonus F:
July 1, 2016, a world-class visitor center opens.
The Viaduct has long brought visitors to the area, but before now, they drove up to a gravel parking lot with a few interpretive kiosks. Now visitors can immerse themselves in an interactive walk-through history in the 2,800 square-foot visitors center, which includes two exhibit halls, a lobby, a gift shop, park administrative offices, public restrooms, and classroom space. Vending machines are located within the building and in summer months there is a vendor outside offering hot food. Picnic tables are plentiful along with a playground for children.
*** Continue down the grassy roadway and you will again enter the park. Now you are in the valley where the largest part of the debris field is. By now you should be aware of all the rules that are implied here. If you brought a dog, put them on a leash now. Do Not Trespass by going past posted signs and by all means Do Not Climb on fallen towers. This will definately get you a visit from the Park Ranger and more then likely a hefty fine. Please do not remove or take any artifacts from the park, this is all considered history and should stay here. ***
