The Bluejoint Rec Site is maintained by the Grand Forks ATV Club as a staging area for quad rides and events. From here, you can access many ATV trails that are maintained by the club. There are a dozen campsites with picnic tables and fire rings, a few pit toilets, as well as a large gathering area and shelter for when events are hosted there. There is no fee for camping here, but please try to leave it as clean as or cleaner than when you found it.
To get to the rec site, start at the Omega II restaurant in Grand Forks - this is the start of the Granby road. Follow that road for about 16kms where you will pass the Hummingbird Fire Station where you turn right onto North Fork Road (do not cross the bridge over the river). After about 28kms, you will cross a bridge, and after another km or so, you'll take a right turn onto Burrell Creek FSR. Just before you cross the next bridge 7kms later, turn left onto West Burrell Creek FSR (at the reference point for this cache - added because most routing misses this turn). There is a sign for the rec site. The first 44kms is paved, and the remaining 11kms is a pretty good dirt road - easily 2wd-able. Cell service went away a long way back, so you're on your own.
