Ashland Fire & Rescue provides fire suppression, fire prevention, emergency medical,
rescue, and forest management services to the 21,600 citizens and 6.52 square miles
of Ashland. Fire station #1 (right here) is staffed 24/7 by our crews that work on one of three rotating shifts consisting of 48 hours on-duty then 96 hours off-duty. In 2023, our department had a total of 5,611 emergency responses. This cache is located next to the parking lot along Siskiyou Blvd outside of Ashland Fire & Rescue Station #1.
