One of the first things we learned living in this area was that local lore states that you have to wait until all the snow is gone on "Tomato Mountain" before planting your gardens. Hence, the locally known name for this peak. It's actually Lake Mountain you're looking at - on the southern shores of Violin Lake (roughly).
There are a million trails in this area and this cache is found just a few steps off of one of them. Coming from either Whitman Way, Bingay Road, or from the Table Mountain Condos area, and following your GPS, will bring you to this area.
