Parking: Car parking is available by the main gates leading in to the Reserve (Parking area / Meet-up point).
Where: Meet by the main gates at 09:30 to collect tools, or if arriving after that time find us working in the Long Meadow, near the main coordinates (see waypoint for footpath to the Long Meadow).
What: Today's work day in the Long Meadow will be mainly focussed on digging up and dividing clumps of wild garlic. The bulbs we dig up will then be replanted in other locations around the Reserve.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. We ask you to please bring your own work gloves if possible and if you wish to bring your own tools (bucket, trowel) please do so. Don't worry if you don't have tools as the Ranger will have a supply.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by Council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please bring a drink and/or snack for breaktime. Homemade cake will be provided 🙂
