Located just northwest of Baltimore, Irvine Nature Center is the largest independent non-profit nature center in the region. A leader in environmental education for children and adults, Irvine offers hundreds of programs annually and is the home to over 50 animal ambassadors. Come hike the 8+ miles of trails, visit the 9 resident avian ambassadors, play in the Outdoor Classroom, discover the Native American Educational Site, observe the diversity in Maryland’s ecosystems in the meadows, wetlands and forests that make up our 211-acre campus.
