山水海灘 Shanshuei Beach
Shanshuei Beach is situated on the south side of shanshuei Community. It was originally called “The Sow’s Fall”. Rumor has it that a large sow was walking on the beach when a gigantic octopus came out of the water for the prey. The two animals fought fiercely on the beach, but the sow became the octopus’ victim eventually. A “turtle praying” ceremony is held annually, which attracts visitors to attend.
