Geocache Description:

Cache #1 on the BPRD Geocaching Passport

Welcome to East Sibley Nature Park!

This park is located in a Cottonwood forest along a bend of the Missouri River. East Sibley Nature Park is a great place to go birding and also a nice walk for you and your four-legged friends (on a leash, please). You will be immersed in the dense woods with a scenic view of the Missouri River. No picnic shelters or playgrounds. Just uninterrupted, natural space.

Bismarck Parks and Recreation District (BPRD) has partnered with the North Dakota Geocaching Association (NDGCA) and Bismarck-Mandan Area Geocachers to establish 12 geocaching sites within BPRD’s system of parks and trails.

To participate in the BPRD Geocache Challenge, take a passport from the container or get one in advance by printing it or picking it up from the park office during normal business hours. Match the hole punch to the coordinating number on the passport. Once you have found all 12 of the park caches, return to BPRD office at 400 E. Front Ave., Bismarck, to claim your prize!

Remember to place the container back exactly where you found it for the next visitor to enjoy!
