This is the third cache in our Arnside Trail series. It's located in a small public area that was recently (well, not that recently!) devastated by storm Arwen. Quite a few big trees were blown over (you can still see the stumps), but a new wildflower meadow and some fruit trees have been planted since. The youngest of the Boughton4 has been helping with the seeding of the area and there is a number of benches where visitors can sit, have a picnic and enjoy the stunning view over the estuary and the viaduct.
The cache is a small micro. Make sure you bring your own pen and tweezers.
