Backstory on how this puzzle came to be:
(unrelated to the actual puzzle - skip until after the line if you want to get right to the puzzle)
This puzzle cache is inspired (and named after) an old mystery cache that was here called CRAZY CHESS. I remember being STF on that puzzle cache in the summer of 2008, and then it was archived in 2010.
I found myself in the area where the mystery cache was today and for whatever reason, remembered exactly where it was hidden. I headed to the hiding spot, gave it a lift, and was stunned to find the original container still in place. I couldn't believe it. This container sat, undisturbed, for more than 14 years. The log was absolute mush but the film can was in surprisingly decent shape. I removed it and replace it with a newer, fresher container. At that point, I knew I needed to make a puzzle based on the original!
