Pyrites is a beautiful small town with many hidden treasures so when deciding where my first hide should be, I knew right away. Growing up, my best friend lived out this way and I was lucky to have discovered a few of pyrites beauties. A favorite past time of ours was always going to this spot (we call it the gorge), playing on the rocks, swimming in the water, and enjoying the view.
This location is also a favorite because of the beautiful caves. Back in the day, they thought there was gold in pyrites so they made the mines and were left with pyrite (fools gold). Because of this , the mines have become filled with water and debris, but are still amazing to look at and think of the effort and history that stands infront of you.
The cache is in a black micro set not to far from the first cave
