The town of Hafnarfjörður is lucky to have such a beautiful, unspoilt natural area so close to habited zones. Come here and enjoy a walk around the pretty little lake which is a home to many bird species, some of them rare in Iceland. If you fance a climb there is a mountain nearby and you can either trek all the way up or drive half the way!
