This deceptive geocache is owned and maintained by Lake Metigoshe State Park. Entrance fees apply in the amount of $7/vehicle/day or $35 for a single annual pass or $55 family pass for two annual passes going to those within the same household. Entrance fees can be paid at the entrance station via staff or self-registration, online at www.parkrec.nd.gov or at the main office during business hours. Parking is located nearby by the warming house and North Star campground.
This area is an off-leash dog park area; the rest of the state park requires dogs to be on leashes. LMSP is the first ND state park that offered this for our four-legged visitors allowing them to have their own area to swim and play along the shoreline.
