Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Middle of Everywhere!

Full of history, culture, and recreational opportunities, Marion County truly is the Middle of Everywhere! From the rolling rapids of Valley Falls State Park to the Italian influence of local bakeries, there's so much to do while visiting the area. We invite you to join us to celebrate Marion County's FIFTH Geocaching adventure, the Middle of Everywhere GeoTour! This officially registered tour will highlight 20 of our favorite locations from each trail and bring you to a few new ones! Finding 16 / 20 qualifies you for a limited-edition GeoTour coin. Find all 20 to get a unique souvenir added to your Geocaching profile. Whether this is your first visit to Marion County, or your 100th, welcome!

📍 Marion County Visitor Center
🗓️ Saturday (5/3/25)
⏰ 9 - 11 am

There will be 20 new caches published at 10 am as part of the GeoTour spanning 4 unique categories: Murals, Markets, Mining, and Adventures. You'll need to find 4/5 in each category, as well as the required cache at the visitor center, to be eligible to claim your coin. Passports will be available for pickup at this event. Passports will also be available for download upon the launch of the tour.

The tour will take about 10 total hours to complete, including stops for food, gas, bathroom breaks, and the occasional caching shenanigans (although we all know that's never happened before ... right). Most caches will be wheelchair accessible with gadgets, multis, and adventures mixed into the fun. More information about the tour will be available on the GeoWoodstock XXI website when available.

Upon completion, coins can be picked up at GCB24BZ - Claim Your Coin on Sunday from 3 - 4 pm.
