BOWNESS PARK NEAR THE LAGOON and CAFE area.
After checking on picnic site 3, I felt that it lacked atmosphere (due to the glaring florescent tube lighting) so let's relocate the event tonight to N 51° 05.820 W 114° 12.991 to move it to a better spot (where there were 2 other events recently) closer to the lagoon, picnic tables and fire pits.
Well, once again, this has been a long time coming for one reason or another. And now it's time the clear the unpublished caches in the digital cupboard before it gets taken away. I'd had a few ideas and thoughts but at this time of year I decided to try to play it safe. There is a picnic shelter here is the weather doesn't want to play nice. I plan to bring some firewood as there are fire pits nearby that might take the edge of f things too if required. I don't have anything booked (because you can't book in winter), so we might need to play nice with others too. It an be a pleasant walk under the winter lights under the trees and the option to skate on the lagoon or the track (I'm not a skater having been raised in the UK) and maybe corkicurl. https://www.calgary.ca/parks/activities/crokicurl.html
