Huomenna lauantaina on vuorossa vihdoin pitkään suunniteltu ja monien odottama hetki, kun Tampere Urban - Block Party -tapahtuma on vihdoin täällä. Perinteen mukaan ennen virallista pääpäivää on ollut tapana kokoontua tapaamaan muita kätköilijöitä, ja mikäs sen parempi tapa aloittaa Block Party -viikonloppu kuin perinteinen meet and greet -eventti. Kokoontukaamme siis tapaamaan muita kätköilijöitä ja jutustelemaan tulevasta Block Party -tapahtumasta tai kätköilystä ihan vain yleisesti. Huoltoasemalta halukkaat voivat ostaa kahvia, teetä ja muuta syötävää omakustanteisesti.
Miittikirja löytyy huoltoaseman terassilta, johon toivotaan osallistujien kuittaavan puumerkkinsä. Muistakaahan ottaa nimilaput mukaan.
Tapahtumapaikan läheisyydestä löytyy useita parkkialueita, mutta suosittelemme käyttämään julkista liikennettä – lähimmät bussipysäkit ovat aivan miittipaikan vieressä. Teiskontie on hyvin vilkasliikenteinen, joten käytäthän alikulkua Teiskontien alittamiseen

Teiskontien alikulun ympäristö on remontissa, mutta parkkipaikoille waypoint 4, 5 ja 6 pääsee ajamaan Teiskontien alikulun kautta varovaisuutta noudattaen.
Parkkipaikka numero 3:lle pääsee ajamaan VAIN Lahti/Kangasalan suunnasta.

Tomorrow, Saturday, is finally the long-planned and much-anticipated day when the Tampere Urban Block Party finally takes place! It has long been both common and traditional to get together to meet other geocachers before big events, and what better way to kick off the Block Party weekend than with a traditional meet and greet event? So come to meet other geocachers and chat about the upcoming Block Party - or geocaching in general! Those who wish can purchase coffee/tea and other snacks at their own expense from the service station.
Meeting participants are encouraged to sign the meeting log book. It can be found outside on the gas station porch. Please remember to wear your name tag!
There are several parking areas near the meeting (see the waypoints), but we recommend using public transportation. The nearest bus stops are right next to the meeting location. The Teiskontie road is quite busy. Please use the underpass to cross the road.
Attention parking !!!
The area around the Teiskontie-road underpass is currently blocked by road construction. It is still possible to park your car on the designated parking areas on the other side of the Teiskontie road. Parking areas marked as waypoints 4, 5, and 6 are still accessible via the Teiskontie road underpass if you drive carefully.
The parking area marked as waypoint #3 is accessible by car ONLY when approaching from the direction of Lahti or Kangasala, not from the city.
