A caravan of delivery trucks loaded down with geocoins was just attacked by Carmen Can deAmmo and her gang! The Going Caching Crew foiled her attempt this time, but she got away before Sheriff Tanner could apprehend her. This is your first opportunity to pick up your packages and other items before Carmen Can deAmmo tries it again!
Meet up at the Rome Civic Center to see old friends, pick up your pre-paid packages, and trade Cache-Cards. You can then begin solving the Where in Rome is Carmen Can deAmmo? Trading Card Puzzle that leads to an adventure in downtown Rome and, eventually, her secret hideout!
NOTE: There are no free registration packages. If you did not purchase items in the on-line store, there is no need for you to stand in the package pick-up lines. Please do join us for the event, though, because the fun is free!

NOTES FOR ATTENDEES
● There is no charge to attend any of the Going Caching 2024 events. Some of the activities during these events do require certain items that can be purchased in our online store (now closed).
● Store purchases may be picked up Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the Civic Center (see coordinates above) and at all events except the Thursday evening Flash Mob. We cannot ship purchases prior to the event except for Custom Cache-Card orders.
● Parking is free at Ridge Ferry Park. A special parking permit for an up-close and reserved (just for you) parking spot is included in the Patron-level registration package. There will be adequate parking for those with official disability vehicle tags or placards. Please obey all city and county parking regulations as you make your way to find geocaches and attend events/activities.
● Pets are welcome at Going Caching 2024 but must be on a 6' leash at all times. Pets are not permitted in any tents, pavilions, buildings, or stages at the event venues. Look for the "Paws Permitted" decal to see which shops and restaurants in town are pet friendly. Please be a good pet owner and clean up after your pet.
