Its that time of the year again, I enjoy helping out at the National tree planning day activities in Mackay.
The Mackay Regional Council 2024 National Tree Day site is framed by Goosepond Creek on one side and delineated by the pathway in Glenfields Park.
The coordinates are close to where the planting site is going to be.There will be a registration table, sign in grab some tools and off you go, Follow the obvious signs to find where everyone is, The tree planting moves quickly along the track, so follow the freshly planted trees to find us. Register here so they know your coming. In years gone past they have had a sausage sizzle for all the tree planters, if we are lucky a coffee van will be in attendance
