Meet Nelson - Mercer County's Bigfoot!

Nelson the Bigfoot is a 27' tall wooden sculpture located at the Mercer County Fairgrounds! He was unveiled during the 2024 Solar Eclipse, and took nine carvers over five days to construct him! The tractor beside him pays homage to Mercer County's rich history in agriculture - ranked in the top 5 in the state of Ohio.
