Valmaura è un rione della città di Trieste posto nella prima periferia meridionale della città lungo l'asse che la collega con l'Istria.
Nel rione hanno sede le più importanti infrastrutture sportive cittadine: lo Stadio Nereo Rocco, lo Stadio Giuseppe Grezar ed il PalaTrieste, che formano una vera e propria cittadella dello sport. Vi si trovava anche il macello comunale, costruito nel 1852, e spostato in altra sede negli anni ottanta.
Valmaura is a district of the city of Trieste located on the southern outskirts of the city along the axis that connects it with Istria.
The district is home to the city's most important sports infrastructures: the Nereo Rocco Stadium, the Giuseppe Grezar Stadium and the PalaTrieste, which form a real sports citadel.It was also home to the municipal slaughterhouse, built in 1852, and moved to another location in the 1980s.
