Once in a Blue moon.....
"Rarely, once in a very long time".
Being an introvert it seems that I will attend an event very rarely and then it is even rarer that I will organise one. You could say, once in a Blue moon.
What is a blue moon?
There are two types of Blue moons. A month Blue moon, which is the second full moon in a calendar month. Then there is the seasonal Blue moon, which is the third full moon in a season that has four full moons. By season, it refers to the period between a solstice and an equinox, or vice versa.
The only Blue moon this year is a seasonal Blue moon on the 20th of August. The next seasonal Blue moon will not be until May 2027. Probably as long as until I will host another event.
I invite anyone who loves the beauty of any full moon to share the rising of this rare occasion on Woody Point Jetty with me. Sunset is at 5.29pm and moonrise is at 6.00pm. There will be treaties and hot beverages supplied to keep us warm 🌝
