Captain America first appeared in Captain America Comics #1, published on December 1940. He was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. Steve Rogers possesses no superpowers, though the Super-Soldier Serum has enhanced his body's strength, speed, agility, endurance, reflexes, reaction time, and natural self-healing ability to the peak of human physical perfection. Captain America's primary equipment is a virtually indestructible shield.
Captain Marvel first appeared in Marvel Super-Heroes #12 December 1967. There have been seven Captain Marvels. The first was Mar-Vell. He was created be Stan Lee and artist Gene Colan. Captain Mar-Vell is an alien military officer of the Kree Imperial Militia sent to observe the planet Earth. The second Captain Marvel was Monica Rambeau, third was Genis-Vell, fourth was Phyla-Vell, fifth was Khn'nr, sixth was Noh-Varr, and last is Carol Danvers. When Carol was exposed to a powerful alien device, she transformed into the cosmic powered hero, Captain Marvel!
Cyborg first appeared in DC Comics Presents #26 in October 1980. Victor Stone is part man and part machine. Saved by his scientist father after an accident that left very little of Victor's body intact. Dr. Stone used all his scientific knowledge to save his son. He rebuilt Victor into a superior being, one that was arguably now more machine than man. Vic wrestles to preserve his humanity with every new upgrade. He is a former member of the Teen Titans and a current member of the Justice League.
