A micro in the woods? Everybody loves those, right?
This cache is placed at Big Creek Conservation area maintained by the Missouri Department of Conservation. Big Creek Conservation Area is 1064 acres of conservation land just outside of Kirksville. It is not far from Sugar Creek where multiple other caches are placed, and it connects to Thousand Hills State Park, where many more caches are planned.
It is very close to the parking area, but walking through tall weeds and a very small amount of brushy woods is required. The cache is a bison tube... in the woods. It is findable though.
There will be ticks, snakes, prickly plants, and whatever else one might expect out in nature. Oh, and maybe some potholes hidden amongst the tall weeds.
The cache is placed with a special use permit that is good for one year. The cache is availbe from 0400-2200 hrs which are the open hours of the conservation area. I would reccommend only searching daylight hours, however.
