The first cache in a mini-series through the woodland between Towngate and Manor Park in Silkstone (Note this has been replaced as the original one went missing).
This is a lovely little woodland to explore, lots of spots for den building, a small stream and you can usually say hello to some horses and alpacas in the field nearby. Places can be very muddy and may be overgrown at some times of year.
For parking you can park on the main street and take the public footpath signposted right next to the pub or you can cut through to the woods from either the bottom of Towngate or the end of Manor Park.
