The Hahn Horticulture Garden encompasses nearly six acres of teaching and display gardens on the campus of Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. Established in 1984 by Horticulture faculty, the garden serves undergraduate students and the local community as a learning resource for plant material, landscaping concepts, and environmental awareness. They are a lovely place to spend an afternoon walking, reading, or having a picnic.
The gardens are open from dawn until dusk. Parking is free on weekends. Otherwise, you will have to pay for parking, which is clearly located on Washington St. along the gardens (or park off-campus and enjoy a nice stroll!).
You do not need to do ANY off-roading (or, off-sidewalking) for this cache. Please keep to the paths.
It's been a while since Hahn has had a cache, and I hope that you enjoy visiting what has become my favorite place on campus! Be sure to check out the koi pond and Little Free Library while you're here.
This cache was placed with the generous permission of the Hahn Garden staff.
