נאות שקמה היא שכונה במערב העיר. השכונה הוקמה לקראת סוף שנות התשעים על שטח החולות שהיה ידוע כ"חולות ה' ". שמות רחובותיה קרואים ברובם על שמות רבנים גדולים כגון: הרב קאפח, הרב נריה ועוד, וכן גם על שמות של אנשי רוח, סופרים ומשוררים כגון: מרטין בובר, רחל המשוררת. ארבעת הרחובות הראשיים בשכונה הם: גדולי ישראל, תור הזהב, מורשת ישראל והשירה העברית. בשכונה שוכן קניון "הבאר" ומרכז מסחרי בשם "קארדו". בצידה הצפון מערבי של השכונה, נמצא פארק שקמה, הגובל ברחוב הראשי משה דיין פינת חיים בר-לב ומול הסינמה סיטי. בקצהו הדרום מערבי של הפארק, נמצא אצטדיון האתלטיקה העירוני. בשכונה שלושה בתי ספר יסודיים: נווה עו"ז, שקמה ומרחבים, ושני בתי ספר על יסודיים: מקיף ח' ע"ש חיים בר-לב ומקיף יא' הראשונים ע"ש אילן רמון. בשכונה ישנו ציבור דתי גדול, ולכן קיים בה רחוב דתי סגור בשבת ופועלים בה שלל בתי כנסת. בשכונה יש כ-15,000 תושבים.
במרכז השכונה יש פארק חסר שם או פארק מרובה בהמון שמות – בכל אחת מהכניסות לפארק יש שלט שמי לפי שם הרחוב ממנו נכנסים אל הפארק – אני אכנה אותו הפארק המרכזי. בפארק יש מבחר מאוד רחב של כיסאות וגדרות ברזל ועוד מקומות שניתן להחביא בהם מטמונים...
המטמון הזה ייקח אותנו לסיבוב קצר מסביב לפארק דרך המתקנים השונים ובסוף תוכלו לבחור אם לרוץ ישר למצוא את המטמון או ללכת להצטלם עם המזרקה שנמצאת במרכז (לפי תמונות מגוגל היא מוארת בלילות)

Neot Shikma is a neighborhood in the western part of the city. The neighborhood was established towards the end of the 1990s on the area of the sands that was known as "Sands E (hay)". The names of its streets are mostly named after great rabbis such as Rabbi Kapach, Rabbi Neriah and others, as well as the names of intellectuals, writers and poets such as: Martin Buber, Rachel the poetess. The four main streets in the neighborhood are: Israel greats, the Golden Age, Israel heritage and Hebrew poetry. In the neighborhood lies the "HaBe'er" mall and a commercial center called "Cardo". On the North-Western side of the neighborhood is Shikma Park, bordering the main street Moshe Dayan corner of Haim Bar-Lev and opposite Cinema City. At the southwestern end of the park is the Municipal Athletic Stadium. The neighborhood has three elementary schools: Neve Oz, Shikma and Merhavim, and two secondary schools: the Haim Bar-Lev Comprehensive 8 and the Ilan Ramon Comprehensive 11. The neighborhood has a large religious community, so there is a religious street closed on Shabbat and a variety of synagogues. The neighborhood has about 15,000 residents.
In the center of the neighborhood there is a nameless park or a park with many names – at each of the entrances to the park there is a sign whose name is according to the name of the street from which you enter the park – I will call it the central park. The park has a very wide selection of chair types and iron fences and other places where you can hide caches...
This cache will take us for a short walk around the park through the various facilities and at the end you can choose whether to run straight to find the cache or go and take a picture with the fountain located in the center (according to pictures from Google it is illuminated at night)
To the cache – my instructions are directed from the entrance of Hisdai Street, if you came from another entrance you will need to get your bearings.
