Calling All Sara-Cap Cachers!
Join us from 0830 - 1130 on January 18th, 2025. We will meet at the new Hop Field warming hut in Thacher Park to celebrate the success of the 2024 Geocache Challenge!
This is a great opportunity to socialize with local geocachers and sign up to volunteer for the 2025 Geocache Challenge! ( ... please consider)
Bring along trackables to trade or move along, share ideas on clever cache concepts, discuss your favorite Summer Challenge cache and park experiences and enjoy the company of fellow Sara-Cap Cachers.
We are excited to host this Summer Wrap-Up event at Thacher State Park!
After the event, don't forget to grab the caches hidden at Thacher as part of our Winter Series!
Tenatative Plan:
1. Gather and have fun hanging out
2. Coffee and donuts provided / Possible raffle items to gift
3. Recap the 2024 NYS Parks Geocache Challenge (Stats and trends)
4. Feedback from attendees and ideas for 2025
5. Grab one more donut before leaving
