Purpose: Social Fun / Bonfire / Weenie Roast & Plan the Future of the C.T. Series
Fall's not Fall if you don't sit around a campfire, get that "smokey smell" on ya, and burn a couple of hot dogs in the embers (marshmallows anyone?), so here's your chance. I’ll provide the campfire, marshmallows for smores, hotdogs, buns & condiments — but you’ll need to roast your own weenies and provide your own beverages. Guitars, chips & munchies are welcome. Come anytime during the day & grab some nearby caches before the fire (and Nimrod)
gets lit.
(1) Come prepared to discuss the future of our 1800-cache Confederation Trail cache series.
It has been 7+ years since we launched version 2. During that time we’ve experienced two tropical storms/hurricanes — Dorian & Fiona — plus the ravages of time (rusted container wires, sap-encrusted containers, etc). Despite the efforts of several cachers doing maintenance — patchwork — the C.T. is NOT where it should be!
Please come prepared to discuss what we should do to keep this project in play (or not!) — who, what, when — if you cannot attend, please forward your ideas & suggestions to El Nimrod so your voice can be heard.
