I hate guardrail caches! After your 5th or 6th GRC, you've seen them all. A Pill bottle stuck in the end of the guardrail, or a magnetic key holder clinging near a post. I admit, some hides are in really beautiful locations, but most are just on hazardous roads with trucks speeding by? Monotimous and dangerous. I hate guardrail caches! Do we really need another guardrail hide showcasing a 55 mph thoroughfare? With the exception of the "Find a cache in every town in..." challenges, it baffles me why people select a guardrail to hide a cache in. There's a quote in the groundspeak geocache hiding guidelines that I really agree with.
"When you go to hide a geocache, think of the reason you are bringing people to that spot. If the only reason is for the geocache, then find a better spot."

Maybe the challenges should be updated to "Find a non-guardrail cache in every town..." Slow down and enjoy the caching journey. I hate guardrail caches!
This is my first hide so I considered all kinds of great locations and containers. I wanted to make this placement extra special. So, naturally, I decided to go with a GRC! Hopefully with this single hide, geocachers can experience everything about the gazillion GRCs out there in the world and not have to stop at each one.
Did I mention, I hate guardrail caches! And don't get me started on LPCs.
