Summary
I recently introduced my 7-year-old granddaughter to geocaching while taking her for a walk in another park. She really enjoyed hunting and finding the caches, and wanted to know if she could hide some geocaches with me. Thus, this series came into being with Averie helping papa put the geocaches into place. Enjoy!
This is the fifth cache of a six-cache series in the park. This series will take you on a stroll around a nice riverside park that you may or may not have ever been to before. You won’t be wading in the water, having to bushwhack, or climb up any trees. Just a simple, relatively tame walking series of different style caches. This park is open from dawn to dusk so please geocache only during those times.
This is a 27-acre park and recreation area located in Montrose Township. People enjoy visiting this park for a variety of recreational opportunities such as paved walking paths, river-front scenic views, a fishing pier, boat launch and ramp, a children's playground area, restroom building facilities, two pavilions (available for rent), picnic tables, grills, baseball diamond, parking, sledding hill in the winter, location of the Area Youth Soccer Organization, and home to the Montrose Farmers' Market. It also has a nice free walk-through WWII memorial display at the entrance to the park.
Description
This is a micro, so you have to look sharp while being stealthy, so you are not considered a suspicious looking character. Fool them!
