Note: Parking may be limited right at GZ, due to other event activites in the area. Be prepared to park a little further out than normal and allow a little extra time if needed.
What better way to spend WORLD RIVERS DAY, than working with Cougar Creek Streamkeepers.
UNOFFICIAL PRE-CITO BREKKY

Apologies for not getting this set up as an event on time, but that doesn't mean we don't get to do it anyways.
This time I'm trying out crepes. BCWF are providing the coffee.
Come early if you want to partake as we'll wrap this up just before the planting starts.

It's time! Thanks to everyone that has attended an contributed to clearing this ravine from invasive plants. Now it's time to plant some native plants with the intent of reclaiming the area.
This is our 10/10 installment at this location. Although we will return for some maintenance at a future date.
CCS obtained a grant for approximately 250 plants based on the hours that we contributed during the Ivy Pulls, and now it's time to put them in the ground.
Planting:
Some of the plants are salmon berry, oregan grape, skunk cabbage (I know, right!)
CC Streamkeepers will supply:
- gloves (limited availability)
- spades
- plants
- wheel barros
What you can bring:
- own gloves
- wheel barrow
- water
- good footwear
Site Access: Site is accessed from the trail (closed off road), linking Bates and Blake. Working on east side of trail up into the ravine.
Parking: There is residential street parking available on both Bates Road (North side) and Blake Drive (South side).
