This is the first cache out of a series of 10 caches which takes you on a loop around the boundaries of the Village of Stoke St Mary.
You can park up either in the Village Hall Car Park which is a fair distance from the first cache where there are spaces for plenty or you can park further up the road using the Church Roadside Parking which is near to the first cache where there are spaces for a few cars. The series is approx 2 miles long and should only take about 1 hours 30 mins to complete at the most! The series starts from a bridleway where you can find caches #1, 1a and #2. Along the bridleway, in the winter it can become very muddy in places so we would advise wellies or walking boots and it is also quite steep. From then on it takes you along some lovely quiet lanes which go along the boundaries of the Village and then leads back into the centre of the Village.
