Geocache Description:


Widewath Mill is a disused watermill built in the early 1800's. It sits  on Heltondale Beck and was used for milling corn. The place name Widewath is believed to mean "a ford where willows grow". 

The Mill is privately owned and no access is permitted. The geocache is on open access land adjacent to the mill.
