Although this event location is on the East coast of Australia. Endeavour Park is on a spit of land which looks out west towards the setting sun. The event will run from 1730 hours in the hope we will be able to catch the setting sun over the water. Sunset is scheduled for 1746 hours. Although the official end time of the event is 1800 hours I thought, in view of the proximity, of the Cook Memorial it would perhaps be appropriate to stay an extra 10 minutes until 17:70 hours, more commonly referred to as 10 past 6!!
There is some car parking available at the Park along with other facilities such a BBQ areas, toilets, a kids play area and covered picnic tables.
