The hide is in Catalina State Park boundaries, which requires a $7 fee per car (1 to 4 adults), $3 Individual/bicycle or the use of a yearly State Park Pass.

If you come from the Catalina State Park parking area the trail enters into and then exits the Pusch Ridge Wilderness Area, please obey any rules that may apply. Sections of the trail are also the northern border of the Bighorn Sheep Management Area, which from January 1 to April 30 travel of more than 400 feet off of designated Forest Service Trail is prohibited, but there is no need to go off the trail and into that area to access the cache location.
Cache is a ammo can, hidden in an area with great views in all directions, will need a stretch to reach the hide.
